Testing out the All new Sony a7III 35 mm full frame Mirror-less Camera
The Objective was to head out and find a nice location to shoot during the golden hour and to test out my new purchase. I was beyond excited to test out all the features of the new Sony a7III has to offer. Called up Jonathan Cooper/very talented photographer @theshuttervision and local talent Tash Grou to head out and capture some images. I had no idea where I was going when I was first looking for the place i've only been before once. We all ended up having to pull over on the side of the road while I collect my thoughts, John pulled up and said "DUDE ARE YOU DRUNK?" I laughed and said "no ahah, i'm just lost".
We finally found the location, it was time to test out the most anticipated features of this amazing camera. We recorded some footage in1080p at 120fps and up to 100 Mbps, captured images using the built in High-speed continuous shooting of up to 10fps with AF/AE tracking, I was beyond excited to see the end results. With Sony's built in Eye Detection working in collaboration with the 5-axis in-body image stabilization, focusing on the subject in a windy situation was a breeze when the wind started to blow. The subject was wearing sunglasses and i did have a hard time locking in but once I adjusted my exposure it was game over and every image came out crisp and they were fast and I mean FAST!
